He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Barrett and Chelsea Collett Barrett; and his siblings, Mckinnley Barrett, Paul Barrett, Wendal Barrett, Hazel, Virgie and Goldie.
He is survived by: his sons, Bill Barrett (Tonya) of Barbourville and Brett Barrett of Barbourville; his stepson James Brock; his daughters, Chantel Bays, Algina Sizemore and Anna Scott; and his stepdaughter Stephanie Brock Cornett.
