He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris "Doc" Hylton and Cuba Marie Breeding Hylton; and his sisters, Linda, Patty and Sue.

He is survived by: his wife Marcia Kay Bowling Hylton; his sons, Morris "Marty" Hylton III of Sarasota, FL and Marcus "Jamie" Hylton (Lisa) of Prestonsburg, KY; his siblings, Bill Hylton (Betty) of Sevierville, TN, Reva Watts of Hager Hill, KY, Sharon McIntosh (Russell) of Prestonsburg, KY and Yvonne Bentley (Doug) of Litt Carr, KY; and his grandchildren, Jayla, Avery, Jade, Jacob, Marcus and Mila.

“Marcia, very sad to hear of you and the Family losing Junior. I grew up with him in Cody and still remember the Ice Hockey games we used to play on that old sawmill pond beside his Mom and Dad's place in Cody. Of course, old cans as pucks and sticks for equipment and sliding around on your shoes made for more rough housing and falling than it did for making goals but we had a lot of fun doing it.
