He was predeceased by: his parents, John Young and Dinia Scott Young; and his siblings, Bessie Haney and Leonard Young. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Totten Young; his children, James Christopher Young of Raccoon, Nathan Jerome Young of Meta, John White of Banner, Jamie Maynard of Lawrenceburg, Sabrina Fife of Elkhorn City and Jessica Lewis of Dana; and his siblings, Charles Young of Canada, Joann Mayo of Prestonsburg, Elvie Slone of Meta and Florene Harris of Belfry. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
