It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Birkey Lewis of Banner, Kentucky, who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elder Kainey and Jessie Dillon Lewis; and his siblings, Fred, James, Chester, Bobby Gene, Glen, Forrest D. Lewis, Josephine Tate, Kathryn Sizemore and Mary Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Rebial Garrett Lewis; his daughter Janice Lee Lewis Justice (Dallas) of Banner, KY; his sister Generieve Lewis of Banner, KY; and his grandsons, Christopher and Chad Justice. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
