Hayward Yeary Obituary
We bid farewell to Hayward Yeary of Bagdad, Kentucky, born in Ewing, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Hayward touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Yeary and Hazel Yeary; his wife Patsy Shelton Yeary; his children, Mary Yeary Stevens and Kenneth Yeary; and his siblings, Loraine, Pauline, Cofalee, Junior, James, Paul, Micky and Wayne Yeary.
He is survived by: his children, Keith M. Yeary, Dana L. Yeary (Julie) and Michelle Yeary Dennison (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kristin (Ryan), Jaclyn, Erika (Bobby), Jonathan, Alex and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Eli, Marissa, Lincoln, Bo, Rayland and Greyson; and his close friends, Beth Brown and Jansen Cain. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pleasureville Baptist Church (2749 Hill Spring Rd, Pleasureville, KY 40057). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Defoe Cemetery (4098 Cedarmore Rd, Pleasureville, KY 40057).
