He is survived by: his wife Donna Melton Smith of Avawam, KY; his children, Ronnie David Smith II (Polly) of Vicco, KY, Jamie Ryan Smith (Navisha) of Magnolia, KY, Jenny Marie Combs (Lester) of Avawam, KY, Amanda Smith (Bud) and Jessica Danielle Smith (Jared Lowe) of Nicholasville, KY; his siblings, Dennis "Rocky" Smith and Anita Cooper; and his grandson Quinton Jace Combs.
