Edna Mae touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Fugate and Nancy Hughes Fugate; and her siblings, Earl Fugate, Teddy Fugate, Charles Fugate, James Fugate, Rufus Fugate, Cliffie Fugate and Emma Lou Fugate.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Vaughn (Jim Mike) and Melinda Sue Fugate (Allen); her siblings, Donnie Fugate of Grapevine, KY, Boyd Fugate of Avawam, KY, Lillie Mae Hall of Avawam, Eliza Moncrief of Richmond, KY and Ernestine Davis; and her grandchildren, Ashton Blake Fugate and Reece Fugate.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home (301 E Main St, Hazard, KY 41701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
