She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbie "Red" and Pearlie Tucker Ware; her husband Harry Applegate; her son Ronnie Nickerson; and her brother Gene Ware.
She is survived by: her children, Rosalee Abercrombie of Maysville, Billy Nickerson of Augusta and Robert Nickerson of Maysville; and her siblings, Jackie Ware, Jessie Ware, Eddie Ware, Jimmy Ware, Brenda Kay Hardin, Betty Jo Wachter, Bonnie Robinson and Annie Hardin. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
