Myrtle Bishop Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Bishop (Augusta, Kentucky), who passed away on January 14, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oral Downard and Carrie Hamilton Downard; her husband Russell Lee Bishop, Sr.; her daughter-in-law Janet Norris Bishop; and her brother Oral Downard, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Bishop Uhrig (Clark) of Foster, Russell Lee Bishop (Kathy) of Foster and Ricky Dale Bishop of Foster; her grandchildren, Jeremy Bishop (Tami), Steven Bishop (Amanda), Scotty Bishop (Susan), Shad Bishop (Beth), Tony Bishop (Janet K.) and Timmy Bishop (Andrea); and her pets, Buffy and Whiskers. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Downard Cemetery or Forest Hill Baptist Church.
