He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma June Wallace (Wagel) of Bracken County, KY.; his daughter Melinda Wallace Thornberry; his siblings, Faye Bill Bristol (Robert), Ina Nell Sexton (Charles), Leonard Barnes and Gary Roger "Chuck" Wallace; and his brother-in-law James Gayhart.
He is survived by: his daughter Amy Jones (Jeffrey) of Foster; his granddaughters, Kelly Miller (Austin) of Bedford, IN and Kara Simpson (Sullivan) of Lexington, KY; his great grandchildren, Walker Miller and Brooks Simpson; his son-in-law Mark Thornberry of Newport, KY; and his sister Mary Dean Gayhart of Versailles, KY..
