It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry J. Wachter (Augusta, Kentucky), who passed away on May 18, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wachter and Virginia Kiskaden Wachter; his daughter Virginia Mae "Missy" Benedict; his brothers, Jimmy Arnold Wachter and Danny Kay Wachter; and his grandparents, Bill, Ida Kiskaden, George Henry and Mattie Wachter.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Ware Wachter; his children, Jamie Wachter and Lisa Kay Wachter Holloway (Chris); his grandchildren, Kayla Jo Caudill (Freddie), Samuel Joseph Holloway and Dalton James Benedict (Betty); and his siblings, George "Bobby" Wachter, Jackie Wachter, Frankie Wachter (Judy Ann), May Doyle, Brenda Ruf (Jim), Gail Ruf (Larry), Carolyn Swanger (Jamie) and Marilyn Scott (Robert). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
