She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Benjamin Oscar Kennedy and Helen Clark Kennedy of Louisville; her brothers, Benjamin Kennedy and David Kennedy; her spouse Thomas Edward Layman "Tommy"; her son David; her sisters-in-law, Claudia Kennedy and Barbara Kennedy; her daughter Claudia; her children-in-law, John Bates and Angie Layman; her son Jim; her daughter-in-law Caitlyn Layman; and her grandchildren, Amanda Bates, Wesley Bates, Evan Bates, Christian Layman, Tyler Layman, Zander Layman, Deacon Layman, James Layman, Jr. and Caroline Layman.
