It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Robert Appelman (Augusta, Kentucky), who passed away on March 21, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Appelman and Mary Rita Appelman (Holleran); his grandson Levi; and his brother Ted Appelman. He is survived by: his wife Jane Johannemann Appelman; his children, David Robert Appelman (Mollie), Donald Thomas Appelman (Susy), Joanne Marie Howard (Darrell), Dale Joseph Appelman (Jennifer) and Daniel Edward Appelman (Tina); his grandchildren, Andrew, Amy, Lana, Meagan, Luke, Alicia, Sarah, Grace, Samuel and Dalton; his great grandchildren, Andi, Clint, Kenason, Kate and Drew; and his sisters, Mary Ellen Swanger and Ann Linville.
