It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Joe Cox (Augusta, Kentucky), who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B. Cox and Blanche Jett Cox. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Cummins Cox; his daughters, Jo Ann Young (Darrin) of Augusta, KY and Kathy Lippert (Brian) of Augusta, KY; his grandchildren, Joseph Tucker (Mackenzie), Le Ann Tucker (Eddie), Joshua Young, Karson Lippert (David), Khloe Lippert and Kenna Lippert; his siblings, Goldie Moran, Pat Buerkley (Ronnie), Joyce Colvin (Teddy), James Cox (Martha) and Bonnie Shepherd (S. C.); and his pet Bobo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
