He was predeceased by: his father John Wilkerson Matlock; and his brothers, Charles Richard Matlock, James Robert "Bobby" Matlock and John Wilkerson Matlock, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, William Jeffery "Jeff" Matlock of Colorado, Pamela Jill White (Sammy White) of Florida and Kim Richer (Dale Richer) of Auburn; and his sisters, Barbara Scheidt (Leonard Scheidt) of Bowling Green and Karen Matlock of Auburn. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery (5030 Friendship Rd, Auburn, KY 42206).
