She was predeceased by: her parent Otis Hensley; her son Charles "Chuck" Willis; her grandson Robert Willis; her siblings, Frank Hensley, Albert Hensley, Bonnie Johnson and Frances Wright; and also Charles Willis.

She is survived by: her parent Ada Owensby Hensley; her children, Brenda Wheeler (Sam), Diane Smith (Charles), Robert Willis (Kerri) and Tony Willis (Tina); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Han, Jason Blankenship, Michelle Wisby, Michael Willis, Amanda Ventress and Jessica Willis. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
