He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Browning and Claradelle Browning Rogers (Hughes); and his brother Charles Clifford Browning. He is survived by: his wife Sue Ellen Browning; his daughter Sue Carol Browning of Auburn; his grandson Carroll Browning McPherson (Layce) of Auburn; and his brothers, Thomas Earl Rogers of Auburn and William Dean Browning (Teresa) of Bowling Green.
