He was predeceased by: his parents, Viralmi Shelton and Vera Shelton (Henchee); and his brother Rudy Shelton. He is survived by: his children, Keith Shelton (Shannon) of Auburn, Cheryl Moore (Larry) of Auburn and Connie Shifflett (Dicky) of Russellville; his sister Ann Offutt of Russellville; his grandchildren, Whitney Christner (Calen), Clark Shifflett (Jodie), Travis Summers, Breanna White (Jonathon), Thomas Shifflett (Jessica) and Kalee Shelton; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Hayleigh Summers and Trey Shifflett.
The family ask that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
