He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Fugate and Mary Edith Fugate (Evans); and his brother Robert Lloyd Fugate. He is survived by: his wife Betty Fugate; his children, Steve Fugate of Auburn and Jackie Rogers (Bob) of Auburn; and his siblings, Bill Fugate (Ingrid) of Las Vegas, Mary Katherine Rasner of Frankfort and Mattye Young (Wayne) of Frankfort. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The family ask that donations be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky or to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
