It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Rose Montgomery of Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Sharon McKnight of Ashland, KY, Eddie Montgomery (Gwen) of Ashland, KY and Nanette Pollack (Bill) of Ashland, KY; her grandchildren, Jennifer Epperly, Stacy Smith, Tracy Salmons, Christy Chaney, Eddie Montgomery Jr., Josh Montgomery, Jamie Dixon, Shauna Nicholson, Joe Blair, Tyler Montgomery, Hannah Cyrus, Mikayla Mongomery and Noah Montgomery; her siblings, Tyler Blanton of Mansfield, OH, Georgie Slusher (Bill) of Dayton, OH and Shelly Litteral (Luke) of Mine Fork, KY.; her husband Marvin Montgomery; her children, William Montgomery and Rosanna Montgomery; her great grandchild Grace Sophia Nicholson; her great great grandchildren, Lydia Nora Garnes and Rachel Eliana Garnes; and her siblings, Darrell Adams, Buddy Adams, Phillip Adams, Pauline Conley and Janice Howard. She is also survived by 33 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Neal Funeral Home (2409 Center St, Catlettsburg, KY 41129). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
