We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2024, at the age of 80, William E. Carpenter of Ashland, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carpenter and Hazel Horn Carpenter; his wife Bonnie Howard Carpenter; and his siblings, Lucille Hogsten, John Carpenter, Patsy Clark, Ruby Hall and Daniel Carpenter.
He is survived by: his son Michael Edward Carpenter (Andrea Jean); his grandchildren, Misty Lomax and Michael Carpenter, Jr.; and his sister Roxie Hable.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Lazear Funeral Home Chapel (1632 Central Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at the Ashland Cemetery (1518 Belmont St, Ashland, KY 41101).
