He is survived by: his children, Steven Burke (Becky) of Columbus, OH, Tommy McCormick (Anna) of Ironton, OH and Chris McCormick (Rita) of Wilmington, OH; his stepchildren, Billy Bayes (Debbie) of Georgia, Martin Bayes (Dotti) of Flatwoods, KY, Sandy Bayes of Kentucky and Scott Bayes of Nebraska; his grandchildren, Hailey McCormick, Declan McCormick, Allison Munion, Casey McCormick (Haley), Trevor McCormick, Kayla Trimmer (Larry), Shianne Burke, Magen Burke, Lucy Bays, Colin Bayes, James Robertson, Heather Cherry, Josh Abdon, Tanner Bayes and Makayla Bayes; his great grandchildren, Gabriel Bayes, Matthew Munion, Colby Munion, Sylas Trimmer, Kulani Smith, Kay-Shawn Dillow, Deliah Reeves, Braxton Smith, Jakobie Smith, Molly Abdon, Raven Clay and Jeffery Clay; his siblings, Tammy Chapman (Mark) of Ironton, OH and Ricke McCormick of Vidor, TX.; his sisters-in-law, Ginger Simpson of Ashland and Janie Woods; his close friend Bill "Jumper" Hanner; his wife Willena "Cheri" Damron McCormick; and his siblings, Billy McCormick, John McCormick, George McCormick, Frank McCormick, Nancy McCormick and Sheila Francis.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home (2702 Panola St, Catlettsburg, KY 41129). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
