She was predeceased by: her parents, William, Jr. Adkins and Hazel Wolfe Adkins; her husband Robert Wayne Franks; her son Bryan William Franks; and her half-siblings, Earl Lemming, Billy Partin, Ruby Adkins Dishman and Elsie Jones.
She is survived by: her children, David Alan Franks (Sheila) of Otto, NC, Becky Franks of Ashland and Dana Franks McCoy (Pat) of Ashland; her grandchildren, Jessica Volbeda, Sarah Franks, Miranda Franks, Bryan Schlesser and Christine Heaberlin (Nick); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Emma, Jasper, Riley, Reid and Roman; and her half-siblings, Ben Partin (Bernice) of Hampton, VA and Barbara Reed of Dayton, OH. She is also survived by extended family and good friends.
