With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Kay Baer (Ashland, Kentucky), who passed away on February 11, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Hobson and Thelma Williams Hobson; her brothers, Gary Hobson and Bennie Hobson; and her former husband Donald L. "Don" Baer.
She is survived by: her children, Donald R. "Donnie" Baer of Ashland and Sherri L. Baer (Derek Winebrenner) of Hilton Head, SC; her stepgrandsons, Max Winebrenner and Alex Winebrenner (Alyssa); her stepgreat-grandson Elijah; and her pets, Copper and Charlie.
We kindly ask that, in lieu of flowers or gifts, donations be made to Community Hospice of Ashland in memory of Sharon.
