She was predeceased by: her parents, William S. Wessel and Betty Dartey Wessel Spangler; and her siblings, Tommy, Keith, William "Bill" Jr., Jerry and Barbara Wessel.
She is survived by: her husband James Adams; her son Christopher Joe Adams; her nephew Phillip Wessel; her niece Terry Joe Spangler; and her great-nieces, Jaci Smith and Shelby Jenkins.
