It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Brewer of Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Ruth find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dixon and Emma Dowler Dixon; her husband Johnson Grant "Bud" Brewer; and her son Fred William Brewer. She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Jack Brewer (Pamm) and Schon Brewer (Cindy); and her daughter-in-law Glenda Brewer. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lazear Funeral Home Chapel (1632 Central Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
