He is survived by: his wife Wilma Herrell Adkins; his sons, Ricky Dale Adkins (Debra) and Daniel Lee Adkins (Heather); his siblings, Russell Adkins and Barb Kitts; his grandchildren, Jonathan Adkins, Max Christian Adkins, Devin Adkins, Derrick Adkins (Kat), Katelynn Adkins and Michael Adkins; and his great grandchild Emery Grae Adkins.
