He was predeceased by: his parents, Garrett Ross and Dolores Anderson Ross; his stepmother Louise Ross; his wife Janelle "Sissy" Smith Ross; his brother Don Ross (Ann); and his sister-in-law Phyllis Ross.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Edward Ross (Tim Frazier) of King, NC, Sherry Lynn Ross (Rocky Walter) of Ashland, KY and Beverly Ross Conley (Jimmy) of Calabash, NC; his brother Gary Ross of Ceredo, WV; and his grandchildren, Joel Walden, Andrea Conley, Elissa Shaffer and Ciara Kemper. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
