He is survived by: his wife Karen Lee Nichols Blanton; his daughters, Lynn Gussler (Greg) of Ashland and Tracy Dawn Hall of Ashland; and his siblings, Terry Blanton of Ashland, Candace Murphy of Ashland and Sheila Hale of Ashland. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
