He was predeceased by: his parents, William Claude Johnson, Sr. and Micha Williams Mack. He is survived by: his wife Anyetta Barrow Johnson; his children, Angelia Johnson, Michael Johnson II (Nekita), Charles Johnson and Anthony Barrow; his siblings, Claudia Johnson Alister (William), Patricia Johnson, Andra Johnson Meadows (Tim), Bertie Johnson Gardner, William Claude Johnson Jr. and Byron Johnson; his nephew Antwane Meadows (Maria); his grandchildren, Olivia Gooch (Jamison), Charles Michael Johnson, Madison Johnson, Mariah Johnson, Michael Johnson III and Aries Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Jadon Lee Gooch and Norah Gooch. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (2717 Carter Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
