She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Eugene and Midge Blankenship Bowling; her husband Ora Adkins; and her son Timothy Lee Green. She is survived by: her children, David Michael Green (Tara) of Lexington, KY, Kimberly Ann Carroll (Robert) of Humboldt, TN, Mary Lou Bowen (Virgil) of Ft. Gay, WV and Patricia Marie Volpe (Frederick) of Lexington, TN; her siblings, Darrell Bowling (Mary) of Catlettsburg, KY and Garnet Stapleton (Bill) of Louisville, KY; and her grandchildren, Joshua Green, Brittany Green, Morgan Green, John Delong, Jared Bowen, Ryan Carroll, Grace Carroll, Aiden Brett and Gabriel Green. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel (3409 13th St, Ashland, KY 41102). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bowling Cemetery.
