She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Porter and Bethel Evans Porter; her brother J. D. Porter; and her sisters-in-law, Pat Porter, Shirley Porter and Phyllis Porter.
She is survived by: her brothers, Gene Porter of Flatwood, Marvin Porter of Greenup and James Porter of Boyd County. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Second Free Will Baptist Church (2121 29th St, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
