She was predeceased by: her parents, Francois Bijsmans and Sidonie Bellens; her husband Max Russell Mankin; her brother Eugene Bijsmans; and her daughters, Carolyn Mankin of Ashland, KY and Tracy Trimboli (Tom Mullins) of Huntington, WV..
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Dustin Mankin (Shinobu), April Trimboli (Mary Lee), Rachel Trimboli (David Toney) and Austin Trimboli (Fiance' Hannah Cummings); her great grandchildren, Kaeden, Presley, Archer and Maximus; and her sister-in-law Eleanor Bijsmans.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel (3409 13th St, Ashland, KY 41102). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery.
