He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Hogsten and Maggie Lucille Carpenter Hogsten; and his brother Michael Hogsten. He is survived by: his wife Rae Stanley Hogsten; his sons, Ryan Hogsten (Becki) and Joseph "Joe" Hogsten (Allie Brown); his brother Anthony "Tony" Hogsten (Karen); his sisters-in-law, Paula Hogsten and Bea Stanley; and his grandchildren, Gabriel Hogsten, Carlee Hogsten, Rylan Brown and Lyla Brown. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East (100 Veterans Mem Dr, Argillite, KY 41143).
