With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth Oliver of Ashland, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2025 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Oliver, Sr. and Clarice "Peggy" McLemore Oliver; his siblings, James Henry Oliver, Jr., Jennifer Sue Oliver and Jacqueline Oliver Claxon; and his sibling-in-law Thomas H. Claxon.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carolyn Oliver Graeves (Raymond) of Ashland and Bobby E. Oliver (Johnda) of Ashland; his child Lee Coleman (Candace); his daughter-in-law Sheree Coleman; his grandson Brayden Coleman; his nephews, John Claxon, Tommy Claxon of Raceland and James R. Oliver of Ashland; his niece Julie Claxon Ferguson (Rob); his great-niece Jenna Claxon; and his great-nephew Eli Ferguson of Raceland.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel (3409 13th St, Ashland, KY 41102). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
