The memory of Kay Francis Hunter of Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on October 10, 2024 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Jauchinus and Mary Opal McKee Jauchinus; and her husband Kenneth "Kenny" Hunter. She is survived by: her children, Charles Roberts (Belinda) of Ashland and Margaret Pancake (Bill) of Coal Grove; her grandchildren, Kevin Pennington (Sam), Katelyn Gillispie (Joe) and Taylor Rankin (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Chase Gillispie, Jaylynn Gillispie, Ryker Gillispie, Walker Rankin and Korie Pennington.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lazear Funeral Home (1632 Central Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Orthodox Christian Church (1 Woodhaven Dr, Huntington, WV 25701).
