She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shelton and Malta Blair Shelton; her husband Timothy Layne Sr.; her son Sean Timothy Layne (Rachael) of Ashland; and her sister Cynthia "Cindy" Midgette.
She is survived by: her son Duane Wessel (Jodi) of Ashland; her siblings, Janet Cassity of Ashland, Joyce Ratliff of Ashland and James "Buddy" Shelton of Stumpy Point; her grandchildren, Cody, Desire, Jett, Logan, Hannah and Tabetha; her great grandchildren, Aiden Lee, Aiden Tyler, Oaklyn, Ryleigh, Hailey, Olivia and Grayson; and her close friend Linda Belford (Louise).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Judy's memory to the American Cancer Society or Community Care Hospice Center in Ashland.
