He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Steen and Jo Frances Rayburn Steen; his wife Billie Jean Snell Steen; and his brother Marshall Lane Steen. He is survived by: his daughter Amy Twinam; his children-in-law, Earl (Sallie Cole) of Flatwoods, KY and Teresa of Lexington, KY; his granddaughter Maddie Boyd (Fiance'Cameron Rodgers); his great grandchildren, Quest and Atlas; his sister-in-law Pat Steen Graham (Steve); and his nephews, William Steen, Zachary Steen and Jason Gullett.
