He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Oscar and Virginia Ellis Bailey; his wife Linda Gandee Bailey; and his brothers, Charles Bailey and Bill Bailey.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Marc Bailey (Pam) of Simpsonville, SC and Carla Dawn Wright (John) of Prestonsburg, KY; his sisters, Janet Bailey of Pineville, WV and Sandy Hudson of Oak Harbor, OH; and his grandchildren, Andrew Bailey, Ethan Bailey and Jada Wright.
