She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Edwards and Blanch Parker Edwards; her husband James "JD" Sloan; her grandson Kyle Harris; and her sisters, Velma Bates, Debbie Ferguson and Joyce Caines.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Sloan (Catherine) of Russell, KY and Tonya Harris (Bill) of Catlettsburg, KY; her sisters, Glennis Caudill of Myrtle Beach, SC, Linda Stone of Raceland, KY and Patty MacDonald of Sumpter, SC; her grandchildren, Kevin Harris, Karilyn Harris, TJ Sloan, Jennifer Middleton (Kyle) and Matthew Sloan; and her great grandchildren, Skylar Ann Sloan, Kylan James Middleton, Ronnie Alexander and Sadie Rayne.
