He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie "Bill" Stone and Ercella Whyoma Holmes Stone; his brother Jerry Stone; and his brother-in-law Mike Hamilton. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Kathleen "Kathy" Simmons Stone; his son Chad Stone (Kristin); his sister Patty Stone Hamilton; and his nieces and nephews, Stacy and Scotty Hamilton (Jennifer).
