It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Imogene Dobyns Stein of Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Grettie Holbrook Dobyns; her husband Roy F. "Mickey" Stein; her son Porter Lee Stein; and her brother Wendell Dobyns. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Lee Ann Stein of Noblesville, IN; her daughter Wendy Grimm (Jeff) of Ashland, KY.; her grandchildren, Victoria Burgin (David) of Humble, TX, Liz Pfeifer (Kyle) of Indianapolis, IN, Tanner Stein of Lapel, IN, Kelson Grimm of Ashland, KY and Melanie Grimm of Ashland, KY; her great grandchildren, Myles, Emilia, Charlie and Grace; and her cousin Jil McClanahan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (1600 Winchester Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
