It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Edsel Withrow Sr. of Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Franklin Withrow and Margaret Johnson Withrow; his wife Artie Withrow; his great grandchildren, Kate Withrow and McKenzei Elam; and his son-in-law Myron Houston.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Houston and Henry Withrow, Jr. (Pamela); his siblings, Brenda Burns, Phyllis Ramey (Carmel), Judy Napier (Ernie) and Ernest "Joe" Withrow (Myra); his grandchildren, Adam Mullins (Shamra), Trey Withrow (Ashley), Tyler Withrow (Ashley), Iesha Elam (Joseph), Tabitha Houston (Rex), Christina Brandon (Larry) and James Ronald Paul Marcum; and his great grandchildren, Alexandar Payne, Marlee Mullins, Paislee Mullins, Mylei Elam, Rowen Houston, Evan Withrow, Trey Brandon, Oliver Houston, Kinsley Brandon, Kenna Brandon, Oaklee Mullins, James Ronald Paul Marcum, Jr. and Butch. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steen Funeral Homes - Central Ave Chapel (1501 Central Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
