He is survived by: his wife Barbara Patterson Broughton of Ashland, KY; his son William E. Broughton (Felicia) of Wurtland; his grandson Hunter Bonzo (Alyssa Barrett); and his sisters-in-law, Sally Boughton of Boyd County and Sue Broughton of South Carolina.
