He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Hamilton and Bessie Hamilton of Flat Gap; his former wife Lenora Williams Hamilton; his wife Gretchen Williams Hamilton; his son Charles Michael Hamilton; his son-in-law David Blanton; and his brother Noble Hamilton.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Hamilton (Katrinia) of Russell, Timothy Hamilton (Candie), Cheri Blanton of Flatwoods and Vivian Hamilton of Pensacola, Florida; his daughter-in-law Patty Hamilton of Catlettsburg; his siblings, Willis Hamilton of Clevland Ohio and Mary Mandy Wheeler of Columbus, Ohio; his stepchildren, Steve Williams (Jill), Bob Williams (Jeri), Marilyn Humphrey (Brian), Donna Waggoner (Gene) and Joe Williams (Nancy); his grandchildren, Scott, Stacy, Kyle, Adam, Chris, Mary, Missa, Josh and Amanda; and his great grandchildren, Grant, Hadley, Sadie, Cole, Braxdon, Tucker, Mason, Brody, Blake, Taylor, Kyra, Sophia, Bailey and Ben. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
