He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Davis, and Naomi Ruth Crockett Davis, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Nanci Leahy Davis; his children, Amanda Rene Hornsby (Ryan) of Lexington, Sam Douglass (Courtney) of Ashville, NC, Harley Davis (Chelsea) of Mandeville and Emma Davis of Tampa; his grandchildren, Aya Hornsby and Piper Douglass; his siblings, Doug Davis of Ashland, Darren Davis of Carlisle, Patty Ann Hensley of Mt. Sterling and Alicia Barker of Ashland; and his close friends, Buddy and Princess Bella. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bridges Christian Church (1402 Kenwood Dr, Russell, KY 41169).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to either Boyd County Animal Shelter at 1617 Fraley Lane, Ashland, Ky 41102 or to the Alzheimer's Association at 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
