He is survived by: his stepdaughter Debra Hurtt Caudill; his grandchildren, Samantha R. Caudill and James A. "Bo" Smith; and his great grandchildren, Katie, Lauren, Brooklyn Smith, Gavin and Colin Eckard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
