It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald E. Scyphers of Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on August 16, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Preston and Opal Victoria McCall Scyphers; his wife Bertranese L. "Sugar" Scyphers; and his sisters, Glendean Jones and Evelyn Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Estep (Randy) of Ashland, Dawn Miller (Dean) of Mansfield, Ohio and Mike Scyphers (Lynda) of Bardstown, KY. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
