We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2024, at the age of 78, Danny Ray Patierno of Ashland, Kentucky, born in Pikeville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Justine Sword; and his sister Dorothy "Dottie" Newcomb. He is survived by: his children, Danny Patierno (Hannah) of Ashland, Justina Wilkerson (Nick) of Pikeville and Dana Young (Adam) of Georgetown, Kentucky; his sisters, Darlene Karl (Larry) of Foley and Diana North of Foley; his brother-in-law Jimmy Newcomb; and his grandchildren, Kaitlin Young, Jacob Wilkerson, Jackson Wilkerson, Jeb Wilkerson, Emma Wilkerson, Jessa Young and Townsend Patierno.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM at the Son Funeral Home (703 Hambley Blvd, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
