He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Lowell and Lorraine Ferguson Bailey; and his sister Cheryl Day. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Blair Bailey; his brother-in-law Charlie Day; his niece Andrea Davis (Chad); and his nephew Chuck Day. He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lazear Funeral Home Chapel (1632 Central Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Rose Hill Burial Park (3801 13th St, Ashland, KY 41102).
